This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 28, 2008:
Zigzag.
My husband, a school principal, has irregular hours and no real vacation time. My 24 year old is drifting along rather than taking charge of his life. Two will be going away to college in August--one for the first time. My two youngest always need: money, attention, stimulation, money. And over the last three weeks we've had to worry about: a crashed computer; a dryer that stopped heating, and a refrigerator that stopped cooling. Oh, and did I mention the time I went out to hang clothes on the line and got eaten up by mosquitoes?
But it could always be worse.
